Types of Score Editions

• Autograph or Holograph -- The composer's own manuscript, written by them.
• Copies -- Handwritten copies of a manuscript, copied by a relative, student, colleague, or other copyist.
• First edition -- The first commercially published edition, often published in consultation with the composer.

“Deluxe” albums are typically re-released versions of albums, usually including new songs, live performances, acoustic versions and other bonuses. Some deluxe albums have new artwork, while others use the same artwork as the original release. It's not a new practice, nor does it seem to be dying anytime soon.

Historically, deluxe albums have allowed artists to expand upon an album's original tracklist in a way that enhances the original listening experience. It can be interesting to see an artist release cut songs created in the same creative headspace of the original album.

The ultimate (or gold) edition includes everything that comes with the deluxe edition and also includes the season pass for all of the content being released the first year of the game.

Music. In terms of musical albums, the term "deluxe edition" refers to a re-release of an album, generally a sufficient period after the initial release, featuring extra content related to the album. From the 2000s it has become commonplace for a deluxe edition to be released at the same time as the standard edition.

The only difference between deluxe and ultimate is the upcoming DLCs. Ultimate is like pre-ordering the DLCs so when they come out you don't need to repurchase them, you're given access to them. You'll be able to purchase the DLCs when they roll out (within a year of release they said).
