Full biography Vera Baeva

Vera Baeva (1930-2017) was a Bulgarian composer and writer. She was born in Burgas and studied at the Sofia State Academy of Music with Dimiter Nenov and Marin Goleminov. Baeva wrote for a variety of genres including vocal-instrumental and orchestral works, over 200 choral and solo songs , and children's music. She served as the Chorus Master of the Bulgarian National Radio Mixed Choir.

Baeva is recognized as one of the prominent Bulgarian classical composers and has been featured in several publications and lists , including FamousFix.com's list of Bulgarian classical composers and Women Composers by Time Period on Oxford Music. She was also a frequent collaborator with violinist Peter Hristoskov and together they performed her compositions with the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Her legacy continues to inspire musicians and composers in Bulgaria and beyond.
