Roger Briggs is a composer and Professor Emeritus of Composition at Western Washington University as well as a Conductor Emeritus of Bellingham Symphony Orchestra. Briggs has also been a distinguished visiting composer at several universities and has mentored several students over his career. He has collaborated with other composers on various projects, including musical compositions for Samuel Adler and Jeffery L. Briggs' works. Brigss' compositions range from full orchestra to smaller ensembles and have received high praise for their excellence.
