Petrus de Domarto was a composer who lived in the early 16th century. Not much is known about his early life, but it is believed that he was born in the town of Domarto, located in the present-day region of Lombardy, Italy. Petrus was known for his sacred music compositions, which were greatly influenced by the Franco-Flemish style of polyphony.

One of Petrus de Domarto's most significant works is a composition called Missa super "Allez Regretz," which was written for four voices. This work is a prime example of Petrus's mastery of the polyphonic style, with rich harmonies and complex textures woven together to create a beautiful sonic tapestry. Petrus's music was highly revered during his time and was performed regularly in churches throughout Italy.

In addition to his music compositions, Petrus de Domarto was also a notable music teacher and was highly respected for his pedagogical work. Many of his students went on to become prominent composers themselves, and his influence can be seen in the works of many of the leading musicians of his time.

Sadly, very few of Petrus's original compositions have survived to the present day, with only a handful of manuscripts and fragments remaining. Nonetheless, his contributions to the development of sacred music during the Renaissance era have ensured his legacy as a masterful composer and teacher.
