Nini Bulterijs is a contemporary Belgian composer who was born in 1992 in Leuven. She started her music studies at the age of five, learning the piano, and later adding the violin and the saxophone to her repertoire. Her passion for music led her to pursue a degree in composition at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

Bulterijs' music is highly varied, ranging from orchestral works and chamber music to electroacoustic music and improvisation. She often explores the relationship between sound and space, creating immersive and multi-sensory experiences for her listeners. Her compositions have been performed by various orchestras and ensembles in Belgium and other countries.

Apart from composing, Bulterijs is also interested in interdisciplinary collaborations. She has worked with choreographers, visual artists, and scientists to create unique performances that merge different art forms.

In 2017, Bulterijs was awarded the Sabam for Culture Composition Prize, which recognizes young Belgian composers who display exceptional talent and creativity. She continues to create innovative music and push the boundaries of traditional composition techniques.
