Mansour Rahbani was a Lebanese composer , musician, poet, philosopher, thinker and producer , born on March 17, 1925. Together with his brother Assi, he formed the famous Rahbani Brothers musical duo. Mansour wrote four Diwans in his lifetime as a poet.

Mansour and Assi started off writing songs and poems for Fairuz , Assi's wife, who was a Lebanese diva. They later on went to write several acclaimed musicals including "Season of Glory" (1960), "Petra" (1968), "The Merchants of Venice" (1969), and "The Return of the Phoenix" (1971).

Mansour was known for his contribution to the music scene in the Arab world and his unique style , blending traditional Lebanese music with contemporary elements. He wrote some of the most iconic songs in Lebanese music history including "Sa'aluni", "Ana La Habibi", and "Zahrat Al Madaen".

Mansour Rahbani had a great impact on the Lebanese music industry and was esteemed for his musical genius. He passed away on January 13, 2009, at the age of 83, leaving a legacy behind that inspired generations of Lebanese musicians, poets, and thinkers.
