Alexander Rahbari is an Iranian-born composer and conductor, known for his prolific contributions to the classical music world. He has composed numerous symphonic works, as well as conducted many renowned orchestras around the world.

Rahbari studied in Vienna with renowned composers and conductors, developing a fine ear for the intricacies of classical music. He began his conducting career in 1978, leading several orchestras in Eastern Europe, including the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, and eventually the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.

As a composer, Rahbari has gained recognition for his works, including the cycle of symphonic poems entitled My Mother Persia, which draws upon the rich history and culture of his native Iran.
