Lotten Edholm is a Swedish composer and sound artist based in Stockholm, Sweden. She creates works for various media including concert, film, dance, theater, and installation. Known for her eclectic soundscapes that merge experimental electronic, contemporary classical, and popular music influences, Edholm has become a prominent figure in the Swedish music scene.

Edholm's music is characterized by its intricate sound structures, rich textural layers, and evocative atmospheres that often incorporate field recordings and found sounds. Her compositions showcase a wide range of timbres, from ethereal and otherworldly to gritty and raw, providing an immersive sonic experience for the listener.

One of Edholm's notable works is "Echoes of Fading Voices" - a multichannel sound installation that draws on field recordings of extinct and endangered animal sounds. The work was created in collaboration with renowned visual artist Jacob Dahlgren and was exhibited at the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg in 2018.

Edholm's music has been performed by leading ensembles and soloists in Europe and America, including the Ensemble Recherche, Contemporaneous, Mimitabu, and Third Coast Percussion. She has received numerous awards and grants for her work, including the Swedish Arts Grants Committee's working scholarship for composers in 2019.

Alongside her composition work, Edholm is also a dedicated educator, teaching composition, electronic music, and sound art at various institutions in Sweden. She holds a Master's degree in Composition from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where she studied with Pär Lindgren and Henrik Strindberg.
