Leonard de Hodemont (1575-1639) was a Baroque composer, conductor, and organist from Belgium. He is known for his progressive motets and his work in St. Lambert's Cathedral in Liege. Hodemont was also a member of the Accademia degli Elevati in Florence and is believed to have composed sacred music during his time there.

Hodemont's most famous work is his book of motets, Sacri Concentus, which was published in 1630 and contains 20 motets for four to eight voices. His compositions are characterized by their use of chromaticism, rich harmonies, and complex counterpoint.

Apart from Sacri Concentus, Hodemont's other works include a Requiem Mass, Te Deum, and Magnificat, all of which are written in a similar style to his motets. Hodemont is also known to have compiled and annotated a collection of music books, which are kept in the Municipal Library in Liege.

Hodemont's contribution to Baroque music is significant, and his progressive approach to harmony and counterpoint was influential in the development of the style. Today, his music is still performed and appreciated by musicians and music lovers alike.
