Karl Stefan Aichelburg was a composer and mandolin virtuoso who lived in Vienna at the beginning of the nineteenth century. He is known for writing Opus 1, and his first four published works were for the mandolin. Aichelburg was also a baron and went by the name Charles, Baron d'Aichelbourg. He is mentioned in several articles and sources as a composer, but there isn't much information available about his life or his compositions. Aichelburg died in his Galician castle, and his contributions to music, particularly for the mandolin, remain an important part of the musical history of Austria.
