Full biography Johann Andreas Amon
Johann Andreas Amon was a German composer, born on December 20, 1763, in Bamberg, Germany. Very little is known about his early life, but it is said that he received his musical education from his father and later from Johann Nepomuk Wendt, who was a court musician at Mannheim.
Amon spent most of his career working as a court musician, first in Mannheim, and then in Munich, where he was employed at the court of Elector Max Joseph II. Despite his relatively unknown status, Amon was a respected composer and his works received positive reviews from critics of his time.
Amon's compositions were varied, with works in genres such as chamber music, orchestral music, and vocal music. One of his most well-known works is his Clarinet Concerto in A major, which was written in the late 18th century and is still performed today.
Overall, Amon's legacy as a composer is not one that is widely recognized, but his contributions to classical music and his unique and varied compositions make him an interesting figure in the history of music.
