Hope Temple (1859-1938) was an English composer and pianist. She was born in Manchester, England, and was the daughter of a wealthy family. At a young age, she showed a great talent for music, and her family encouraged her to pursue her passion.

Temple began studying music at the age of eight and started composing her own pieces soon after. Her musical style was heavily influenced by Romanticism and the works of Frédéric Chopin, whom she greatly admired.
