Hernando Franco (1532 - November 28, 1585) was a Spanish composer of the Renaissance. He was primarily active in Guatemala and Mexico. Franco is known for his sacred music compositions, particularly his motets and Magnificat-settings, of which about 40 are known to have survived to this day. He was highly regarded during his time and his works were performed in many churches across Mexico.

Franco's sacred music compositions are characterized by their polyphonic and contrapuntal style, which was popular during the Renaissance period. His works were often written for four voices and featured intricate harmonies and textures, with each voice contributing to the overall complexity of the piece.

Some of Franco's notable compositions include "secundi toni," "Peccalntem me quotidie," and "Memento mei." His works were highly influential in the development of sacred music in Mexico during the Renaissance.
