Graziella Concas is a renowned Italian composer, pianist, and music educator. Born in Sardinia in 1963, she began studying piano at the age of six and went on to obtain a degree in piano from the Conservatory of Cagliari. She continued her studies in composition and conducting in Florence, Italy.

Throughout her career, Concas has been recognized for her unique approach to composition, drawing inspiration from different cultural traditions around the world. Her compositions often incorporate folk and traditional elements from her native Sardinia and other parts of Italy, as well as from other countries such as India, Japan, and Brazil.

Concas has composed music for a variety of contexts, including chamber and orchestral music, opera, theater, dance, and film. Her works have been performed by prestigious ensembles such as the Italian National Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro Massimo, and the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa in Japan.
