Full biography Felix Horetzky
Felix Horetzky (1800-1871) was a Polish-born guitarist and composer. He began his musical career in Vienna, Austria and later moved to England, where he worked as a guitarist and music teacher. Horetzky was known for his compositions for the guitar and was considered one of the leading guitarists of his time. He wrote a number of pieces for the guitar, including "Andantino" and "Polonaise," which are still performed today. Horetzky also wrote music for other instruments, including the mandolin and the lute.
