As a composer, Hoffmann had a thorough musical education and served as the conductor of the Bamberg Theatre for several years. He composed numerous works including operas, chamber music, symphonies, and vocal works. His music was often inspired by the literature and provided a vivid portrayal of the Romantic era.
One of the most notable works of Hoffmann was his opera 'Undine,' which was premiered in 1816. Hoffmann's unique style of Romantic music was reflected in the opera's lush and dramatic score.
