Emilie Luise Friderica Mayer was a German composer of Romantic music who lived between 1812 and 1883. Despite the fact that she wrote hauntingly beautiful melodies similar to Beethoven , Emilie Mayer has remained relatively unknown to most people. Emilie Mayer was drawn to large-scale composition almost immediately , writing her first two symphonies between 1845 and 1847.
