Elizabeth Anspach, also known as the Margravine of Brandenburg-Ansbach, was a British composer and writer born on December 17th, 1750 and passed away on January 13th, 1828. She was the daughter of the 4th Earl of Berkeley and is best known for her music and literary works.

Anspach's musical contributions included several operas and songs. Unfortunately, most of her original compositions have been lost over time. However, it is known that many of her works were performed during her time in Ansbach, Germany, where she lived for a time with her husband, the Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach.

Anspach was also a talented writer, publishing several books throughout her life. She is perhaps best known for "A Journey Through the Crimea to Constantinople," which detailed her travels through the Middle East and Turkey. Her other works include "The Modern Philosopher," a novel, and "Letters of the Right Honourable Lady Craven, to His Serene Highness, the Margrave of Anspach."

Overall, Elizabeth Anspach was a talented composer and writer who made significant contributions to both fields during her lifetime. Despite the loss of much of her original musical works, her legacy lives on through her literary works, which remain popular to this day.
