Caterina Benedicta Grazianini was an Italian composer who lived in the 18th century. Born in Florence in 1723, she came from a family of musicians and was taught by her father, Carlo Grazianini, a renowned composer and maestro di capella of the Basilica di San Lorenzo in Florence.

Caterina began composing at a young age and quickly gained recognition for her works. In 1749, she was invited to be a member of the exclusive Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna, becoming one of the first women to join the academy. Her works, which included operas, sacred music, and chamber music, were performed throughout Italy and France.

In addition to her compositions, Caterina was also an accomplished harpsichordist and singer, and she often performed her own works in public concerts. Her music was characterized by its dramatic flair, fluent melodies, and virtuosic flourishes.
