Carlo Besozzi (1738-1791) was an Italian oboist and composer known for his contribution to the Baroque and Classical music periods. He was born in Milan, Italy, and was the son of the famous oboist Antonio Besozzi. Carlo Besozzi began his career as a child prodigy and displayed exceptional talent in playing the oboe.
Besozzi studied under his father, Antonio, who was a distinguished oboist. He later studied with Giovanni Battista Sammartini, one of the most significant Italian composers of instrumental music in the mid-18th century.
