André Ristic is a Canadian composer, pianist, accordion player, and music theorist. He has won several awards throughout his career, including the Jules Léger Prize for New Chamber Music in 2006 and the Jan V. Matejcek New Classical Music Award in 2005. Ristic's music is characterized by its complexity, intensity, and innovation, and it often incorporates elements of jazz, classical music, and world music.
