Du Bois holds a Ph.D. from Stony Brook University, as well as a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School and a Bachelor of Music degree from Indiana University. She is known for her innovative approach to composition, incorporating electronic and traditional instruments to create unique soundscapes.
