Meaning of "poco" in music

In music, the term "poco" is an Italian word that means "a little" or "little by little". It is often used as a modifier in musical instructions to indicate a gradual change in tempo, dynamics, or other musical elements. For example, "poco a poco crescendo" means to gradually increase the volume or intensity of the music little by little.
