Full biography Vyacheslav Artyomov
Vyacheslav Artyomov was a Russian composer born on June 29, 1940, in Moscow, Russia. He is considered one of the most prominent and innovative contemporary composers of our time. Artyomov studied at the Moscow Conservatory under several notable teachers, including Lev Naumov and Nikolay Peyko. He also worked with the great Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich.
Artyomov's music is characterized by its deep emotional intensity and spiritual quality. His compositions often have a philosophical and metaphysical approach and draw inspiration from Russian religious and philosophical traditions. His deep spiritual beliefs are also reflected in the titles of his works, such as "Symphony of Eternity," "Gentle Emanation," "Ave, Atque Vale," and "Requiem."
Artyomov's music compositions reflect his admiration for the Russian geography and nature, and he spent a considerable time of his professional career in the Altai Mountains. He has mentioned that the natural beauty of the mountains, forests, and rivers of Altai served as his inspiration to create several of his works.
