Robert Beadell (June 18 , 1925 - June 11, 1994) was an American composer who is known for his contributions to classical music. He was born in Ohio and later moved to Nebraska where he became a Professor of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Beadell had a prolific career as a composer, having written numerous works across a wide range of genres. He is particularly well-known for his two symphonies, five film scores, song cycles, and piano pieces. Additionally, Beadell's works have been performed and recorded by many prominent artists and ensembles, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Louisville Orchestra, and the Santa Fe Opera.

As a composer, Beadell was known for his ability to blend traditional and contemporary musical techniques to create works that were both innovative and accessible. Despite his success as a composer, Beadell remained committed to education and spent much of his career teaching and mentoring young musicians.
