Richard Danielpour is a Grammy-Award winning American composer who has made significant contributions to the field of classical music. Born on January 28, 1956, he grew up in New York City and began studying music at an early age. He later went on to earn degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music and the Juilliard School.
Over the course of his career, Danielpour has composed works for a variety of different ensembles and orchestras, including operas, symphonies, concertos, and chamber music. Many of his pieces have been commissioned by major institutions, such as the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Pacific Symphony.
