He is widely known for his work as a co-writer and producer for the musical group, Massive Attack, and has also made significant contributions to the world of film and video game scores.

Davidge first made a name for himself in the mid-1990s, when he started working with Massive Attack and co-produced and co-wrote the acclaimed albums Mezzanine, 100th Window, and Heligoland.
