Matt Savage, born in 1992, is an American musician, bandleader, and composer with a remarkable career that spans more than twenty years. He was diagnosed with pervasive developmental disorder , a high-functioning form of autism, when he was just three years old. Despite his diagnosis, Savage showed tremendous musical talent at an early age. He began playing the piano when he was just three years old and started composing original music shortly after.

At the age of eight, Savage began performing in public, playing the piano in various music venues and festivals. By the time he was thirteen, he had already recorded his first album, entitled "Savage Grace," which was released in 2003. Since then, he has recorded several other albums including "Quantum Leap," "Bay of Angels," and his most recent album, "The Whole Package."

Savage has been recognized for his musical talents by various organizations and institutions. In 2018, he was inducted into the Boston Jazz Hall of Fame, and he has been named a "Rising Star" by DownBeat magazine. He has also performed with some of the best-known jazz musicians in the world, including Chick Corea, Wynton Marsalis, and Bobby Watson.
