Lukas Hurnik is a Czech composer born in 1967. He is known for his popularization of classical music and is well-respected in the field. Hurnik began composing at a young age and has since written several noteworthy pieces, including his chamber piece "Fusion Music." He has also been commissioned to compose works, such as the concerto "Globus" in 2001. Hurnik is not to be confused with Ilja Hurnik, another Czech composer who was born in 1922. While the two share a surname, they are not related.
