Ludwig Schmidseder was a German composer and pianist of the "Light Muse" born on August 24 , 1904 in Passau, Germany. He was popular for composing film music, creating operettas and writing more than 500 songs. Schmidseder was also a talented pianist who excelled at playing his own compositions. He died on June 21, 1971, in Munich, Germany.

Schmidseder is known for his numerous compositions, including Le Tango Tzigane, which is a vocal sheet music for chant and piano, and Was ein Zigeuner fhlt. He also wrote an opera which was specially commissioned for the 1972 Olympics in Munich. In addition to his classical music talents, he also appeared on a cooking show.

Schmidseder's works are still celebrated and performed today. He was a key figure in the German music industry and left a lasting impact on the world of classical music.
