Karel Komzak II trained under his father and studied violin, musical theory, and composition. He went on to become a concertmaster in various theaters and later became the conductor of his father's orchestra. He also worked as a conductor in several locations, including Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria.
Komzak II was known for his waltzes, polkas, and marches, which were often inspired by folk music from Tyrol. He wrote over 200 compositions, which were scattered among various archives , and his music is still popular today. Some of his most famous works include "Bad'ner Mad'ln," "Böhmische Liebe," and "Donauweibchen."
