Julian Arcas (25 October 1832 - 16 February 1882) was a Spanish classical guitarist and composer who had a significant influence on the development of the classical guitar. Arcas was a prolific composer, writing over fifty original works for solo guitar and transcribing another thirty pieces for the guitar.
