Jacquet de Berchem was a Franco-Flemish composer who lived during the Renaissance period. He was born in the city of Berchem in the County of Flanders, which is now part of Belgium, around 1505. Berchem was renowned for his choral music, and his style was characterized by rich harmonies and complex polyphonic textures.
