Jacob Senleches (fl. 1382/1383 - 1395) was a Franco-Flemish composer and harpist of the late Medieval era. He was one of the composers associated with the Ars subtilior tradition of the late 14th century. Senleches is known for his compositions that are characterized by complex melodic lines and intricate rhythms, and his works often feature unusual notational devices and graphical layouts.

Senleches is best known for his Virelai "La harpe de melodie," which is written in the shape of a harp, and his music has been performed and recorded by various ensembles dedicated to the performance of medieval music.

Senleches' other surviving works include the rondeau "En attendant esperance," the ballade "Ny katerine" and the virelai "Fumeux fume par fumee."

Although not much is known about Senleches' life , he is believed to have been a harpist at the court of King Charles VI of France in Paris around the years 1382-1395. While some historians note that Senleches' music is relatively obscure, it remains an important part of the musical canon of the late medieval era.
