Jack Beaver was a British composer known for his film scores. He was born on March 27, 1900, in Clapham, London, England. Beaver played with the Michael Dor Trio in the early 1930s, and also wrote some concert pieces , including the three movement Sonatina for piano. His most notable work, however, was in the film industry, where he composed scores for several films such as The Savage (2007) and Me and Marlborough (1935).
Although primarily known for his work in the film industry, Beaver also contributed to television soundtracks, including the TV series documentary "Independent Lens" where he was a writer for one episode. He passed away on September 10, 1963, leaving behind a legacy of memorable music compositions that continue to be enjoyed by many today.
