Heinrich Bach was a German composer who lived in the 17th century. He was born in Arnstadt in 1615 and later moved to Erfurt where he became the organist at the Predigerkirche and a respected music teacher. He was a member of the famous Bach family of musicians, which included Johann Sebastian Bach, and was the cousin of Johann Christoph Bach.

Heinrich Bach's compositions were largely vocal, with many of his works being church cantatas and hymns. He also composed instrumental music, such as keyboard music and chamber music. His music was heavily influenced by the Baroque style, which was popular during his time.

Despite his contributions to music, Heinrich Bach's legacy has been overshadowed by the fame of his cousin Johann Sebastian Bach. However, his music remains an important part of the Baroque repertoire, and is still performed and studied by musicians today.

Today, Heinrich Bach is remembered as a highly skilled composer who contributed significantly to the development of Baroque music. His music is known for its complex harmonies and intricate melodies, which showcase the technical skill of the composer. Although he may not have attained the same level of fame as some of his relatives, Heinrich Bach's legacy endures as a testament to his talent and dedication to his craft.
