Full biography Giovanni D'Anzi
Giovanni D'Anzi was an Italian songwriter born on January 1, 1906, and passed away on April 15, 1974. He is known for his contributions to popular music in Italy, particularly during the 1930s and 1940s. In 1935, D'Anzi wrote both the music and lyrics for "O mia bela Madonina" ("My beautiful Madonnina"), a song that became an unofficial anthem for the city of Milan.
D'Anzi also collaborated with lyricist Michele Galdieri on several popular songs , including "Mattinata" and "Vivere!" (which was later covered by Italian singer, Adriano Celentano). Additionally, he composed the music for the popular tune "La giornata balorda," which was later covered by Italian singer, Edoardo Vianello.
D'Anzi's music has lasted through the years, and continues to be appreciated by many in Italy and beyond. His work has been covered by various musicians and has also been featured in films and television shows.
