Giovanna Bruna Baldacci was an Italian composer, pianist, singer, voice teacher, and writer on music. She was born on November 19, 1886, in Pistoia, Italy. Baldacci was active as a composer in the early 20th century, but unfortunately, little is known about her life and work. Only a few of her compositions have been documented, including a piano piece called "Studio per la mano sinistra" and a "Messa Solenne" for choir and orchestra.

Baldacci studied music at the Liceo Musicale in Florence and later continued her studies in composition with Ildebrando Pizzetti. She also studied piano with Alfredo Casella and composition with Leonello Capodaglio. Baldacci performed as a pianist in concerts throughout Italy and occasionally performed her own compositions. She was also a prolific writer on music and contributed articles to a number of Italian music journals, including "L'Arte Musicale in Italia" and "La Fiera Letteraria."

Despite her talent and accomplishments, Baldacci's work has largely been forgotten, and only a handful of her compositions have been preserved. However, her contributions to the field of music, particularly as a female composer in a male-dominated industry, are significant and deserve recognition.
