Georgia Spiropoulos is a Greek composer, director, and multimedia artist who was born in 1965. She is known for her acoustic, electronic, and mixed compositions, and is recognized as one of the notable female composers from Greece. Georgia Spiropoulos has a background in classical music, studying music composition at the Athens Conservatory and later obtaining a Master's degree in composition from Columbia University.
Georgia Spiropoulos has received numerous awards and accolades, including the prestigious French award "Villa Medici" which allowed her to live and work in Rome for a year. Her compositions have been performed by various ensembles and orchestras across Europe and the United States.
