Fabio Campana was an Italian composer, conductor, opera director, and singing teacher who was born on January 14, 1819, in Livorno, Italy and died on February 2, 1882, in London, UK. He is known for composing eight operas, including "Dunja", "Tibullo", "L'orfana dell'Orologio", and "La Fenice". Campana was also a successful singing teacher and had a number of famous students, including the Italian opera singer Antonio Cotogni.
In addition to his work as a composer and singing teacher, Campana was also known for directing and conducting operas. He was particularly renowned for his interpretations of the works of Gioachino Rossini and Giuseppe Verdi.
