Cristóbal Oudrid (1825-1877) was a Spanish composer, pianist, and conductor during the Romantic era. He was born in Badajoz, Spain, and his musical talent became apparent from a young age. He was a student of composer Juan Vázquez and later studied in Madrid.

Oudrid composed music for various genres, but he is best known for his zarzuelas, which are a form of Spanish operetta. Some of his most popular works in this genre include "Buenas noches, señor don Simón," "La Molinera de Subiza," and "La Venta del Puerto."

In addition to composing , Oudrid worked as a conductor and pianist, leading orchestras and performing internationally. He was known for his ability to write melodic and expressive music, and his works remain popular in Spain to this day.

Oudrid's life was cut short at the age of 52 when he contracted bacterial pneumonia and died in Madrid in 1877. He left behind a legacy of beautiful and vibrant music and is remembered as one of the great composers of 19th century Spain.
