Corona Schröter was a German composer, singer, and keyboard player who lived from 1751 to 1802. She was born in the town of Ilmenau, which was then part of the Duchy of Saxe-Weimar. Schröter moved to Weimar in 1775, where she became part of the court orchestra and was appointed court keyboard player in 1776. She composed secular and sacred songs, sonatas, and keyboard music.
