Clamor Heinrich Abel's grandfather was also a musician - a Hanover court musician and composer. Clamor Heinrich Abel himself served as an organist and bass viol player in Celle. He composed a variety of works, including sonatas and allemandes, and his music was noted for its beauty and expressiveness. He is known for his collection of keyboard pieces titled "Erstlinge musikalischer Blumen, bestehend in Sonatinen, Allemanden, Couranten und andern so zu dem Gebrauch de Claviers befindlichen Arten und Übungen." Clamor Heinrich Abel's legacy is that of a skilled and influential composer during the German Baroque period.
