Antonio Draghi was a Baroque composer born on January 17, 1634, in Rimini, a city in northern Italy. He was possibly the brother of Giovanni Battista Draghi. He is known for his contributions to the development of baroque opera and vocal music. He wrote several works, including operas, oratorios, and cantatas. In addition to composing, he also wrote librettos for other composers, including Antonio Bertali, the Hofkapellmeister (the director of music of the court chapel) during that time.

Draghi's works were widely performed in Vienna and other European capitals during the 17th century, where he gained a reputation as a prominent opera composer. Many Viennese composers wrote works in his style , and his influence can be heard in the works of composers like Marc' Antonio Ziani, Joseph Fux, and Antonio Caldara.

One of Draghi's well-known works is his 17th-century opera, Giuditta, which was performed in Vienna during his time. He also composed various sacred and secular music and wrote works for the court of Vienna.

Today, Draghi's works are sometimes performed in concert halls and opera houses, particularly in Italy and Austria. His contributions to the development of baroque opera and vocal music have left an indelible mark in the history of Western classical music.
