Full biography Antonio Calegari
Antonio Calegari was an Italian composer who was born in Padua in the middle of the 18th century. He was also a cellist and spent some time in France. Calegari is known for his Gioco Pitagorico Musicale, a musical game which enabled anyone to form a serious quasi-composition, even if they had no prior knowledge of music. He is considered to be one of the prominent musicians of his time and his most well-known work is the Arcangelo, which is a guitar composition. Antonio Calegari's brother, Giuseppe Calegari was also a composer and theorist.
