Adolf Fredrik Lindblad was a Swedish composer from the Romantic era , born on February 1, 1801 in Skänninge, Östergötland. He is mostly known for his compositions of Swedish songs or lieder , of which he produced a significant amount. After completing his studies, Lindblad moved to Stockholm, where he became a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music and began composing music. In addition to his career as a composer, Lindblad worked as a music critic for various newspapers.
