Soave: a word with many flavours Pleasing, sweet, exquisite: this is what the word “soave” signifies in Italian. However, “Soave” means a lot more! First of all, it is an antique wine, probably the most famous white wine in Veneto: its story is rooted in history.

The name of the famous Italian white wine Soave comes from a middle age village in the eastern end of Verona province. It is located at the foot of a hill on top of which stands an impressive middle age castle. The fortress, as it is today, was built by the Scala family, the ruling family of Verona in the XIV Century.

This wine appellation got DOC status in 1968, and since then, its popularity grew over time. Soave produces only white wines, of which a minimum of 70% is the Garganega grape variety.

Soave (“swah-vay”) is an Italian white wine made of Garganega (“gar-GAN-nehgah”) grapes grown around the medieval village of Soave in Northern Italy. Soave wine is known for its melon-and-orange-zest flavors as well as its ability to improve with age.

Soave Classico is the hilly area where vineyards were planted during Roman times. It is uniquely suited for developing white wine with its volcanic soil: pure basaltic lava, the only area with these particular characteristics in Northern Italy.

Soave Classico wines are producd in the traditional Classico vineyard zone of the Soave DOC in Veneto, nothern Italy. As with generic Soave, these are dry, still white wines made predominantly (at least 70 percent) from Garganega grapes.

A good example of a SOA-based system is a set of customer services, like CRM, ERP, Product Information Management System (PIM), etc. These services can be implemented using different technologies and support diverse protocols of communication, data models, etc.

SOA, or service-oriented architecture, defines a way to make software components reusable and interoperable via service interfaces. Services use common interface standards and an architectural pattern so they can be rapidly incorporated into new applications.
