Allegro (Italian: 'lively'). Meaning the music should be played cheerfully. Upbeat and brisk.
MÄSSIG. 'In moderate time'; the German equivalent of Moderato, used much by Schumann, as in the sixth of the fugues on the name Bach, and constantly throughout the Album.
Quasi, a musical term meaning "almost"
Both can be used to say "Be quiet", but the former can also mean "Calm down". Ruhig means quiet. Still means silent. But someone who says "Sei ruhig" often actually means "still" and wants the other person to be silent.

Some common synonyms of lively are animated, gay, sprightly, and vivacious. While all these words mean "keenly alive and spirited," lively suggests briskness, alertness, or energy.

On sheet music, pianissimo is often marked pp, to distinguish it from piano, which is simply "soft," rather than "very soft," and is usually marked with one p. There is, in fact, an even quieter designation called pianississimo, that's "very very soft."
Etymology. Borrowed from Latin quasi (“almost, as it were”), from quam (interrogative adverb) + sī (conditional particle).
A fast, rapid and lively tempo, faster than allegro. Quasi. "As if," "almost" or "nearly." Often used to modify terms e.g. Allegretto quasi Andantino, meaning an allegretto tempo almost at an andantino tempo.
