If you want people to interact more with your Reels and for your Reel to reach more people, make sure that from now on you will use popular and trending songs in your Reels. And here's another quick tip: trends change quickly. Content producers need to keep an eye on what topics and songs are popular on the platform.

But generally speaking then, a reel, played for dancers, would be great somewhere between 100 – 130 bpm. Hornpipes, which you play with a good swing, generally go slower than reels (90 – 120, for example). Polkas, would generally go a bit faster than reels (110 – 140 or faster, depending on the dancers).

Open the Instagram app. Open the Instagram camera and slide the menu at the bottom over to “Reels”. While you're creating your reel, you can tap on the Audio button at the top of your screen. Browse the lists of music and original audio, or search for a specific track.

Pro tip: How to create audio for Reels 1. Click on the audio icon (the music note) at the top of the screen, and then select the Voice Over or Special Effects option at the bottom of the screen. If you choose Voice Over, you can record whatever you'd like by clicking on the red button.
