Thomas Molleson Mudie was a British composer and teacher who was born on 30 November 1809 in London and died on 24 July 1876. He started his career as a highly regarded composer, but later in his career, he composed very little music. He was an organist and choir master in Glasgow before moving to London and working at the Royal Academy of Music. During his time at the Academy, he became a professor of harmony and composition.
